This is a "before picture" of the tent at Oregon Golf Club, and what a typical wedding reception looks like
should the client rent it "as is," spending no monies on upgrades to the tent, or venue provided items such as
tables, chairs, lines, draping, ceiling and side wall treatments, and lighting. As you can see, we had our work
cut out for us, as our goal was to completely transform this tent into a rich, lush, romantic, Renaissance look
and feel. We did so by removing all existing furniture, lighting, white sheer ceiling fabric, and little
white Christmas lights that were in the tent before we began the week-long transformation.

The looks on our client's guest's faces were of awe and sheer amazement as they made their grand entrance
into the extreme make over that was done to the tent, and as they made their way down the star studded red
carpet walkway. We had a custom marquee built and installed just outside the tent to shield the guests from
the rain as they made their walk from the clubhouse to the tent, and where the pre-reception cocktail hour
took place.

Incorporating the red carpet entrance and stanchions was an inexpensive, yet impactful way of ensuring that the couple and their guests had an opportunity of making a grand entrance into the reception tent. The 1st thing that guests probably noticed as they walked down the red carpet was the oversized head table which was placed in the center of the tent, and where all of the other guest tables surrounded it. This enormous head table consisted of 60 seats to accommodate the bride, groom, their wedding party and their dates.

Lighting was a HUGE design element that we incorporated into this particular event. Our client's goal was to have us create an environment that was warm, cozy, intimate and romantic. We installed clear spot lights in the ceiling, in addition to a number of amber spot lights with dimmer switches to add just the right amount of light in the tent, and to accentuate the custom gold sheer organza fabric panels used in the ceiling treatments. We also incorporated spotlights to accentuate the rich gold velvet panels along the side walls, and uplit the panels of rich ruby red velvet to add dimension and focal points throughout the space. Lastly, we used spotlights to highlight and feature the large gold Fleur di Lis statues that we incorporated as the focal points on the buffet tables and dessert buffet tables; which were accentuated with tons of deep red roses.

In an attempt to reduce our floral budget by around $25,000.00, we suggested incorporating tall, elegant battery operated table lamps to line the vast head table, in addition to being placed on 1/3 of the guest tables. By incorporating these battery operated lamps, we were able to add the necessary height to the tables, in addition creating the romantic, soft ambient lighting that set the right mood within the event space. And although we successfully cut back our floral budget, our very talented and fabulous florist (Mike Piper, owner of An Affair to Remember) never compromised the overstated, rich look that the client was seeking to accomplish. He did this by incorporating in conjunction with the lamps, a ton of luscious, rich jewel toned flowers and fruits of all shapes and sizes to compliment each and every centerpiece; just as you might expect to see while sitting at the Round Table with King Arthur and his Knights enjoying a meal. On another third of the guest tables, we incorporated black iron lanterns filled with 3 pillar candles, surrounding by wreaths of luscious flowers, fruits, and greenery at the base. While on the remainder of the guest tables, sat black compote, overflowing with abundant flowers and delectable, colorful fruits. By implementing 3 different styles and sizes of centerpieces to your reception tables, you are creating a more visually appealing and symmetrical event space; with the potential of making something ordinary, extraordinary!

To further enhance the already prevalent luscious rich ruby red color that the client was looking to embellish their wedding reception with, we adorned each place setting with ruby red water goblets and wine glasses; in addition to folding the napkins in a lovely beaded ruby red napkin holder. For the finishing touch, we placed a gold charger at each of the place settings. As seen by this picture, even the smallest of details can add so much to an already gorgeous look! All of these items can be rented through West Coast Event Productions, our preferred rental company.

For an extra touch on the dance floor, we added a monogram of the client's last initial, accented with 2 Fleur di Lis. We also added a spot light to illuminate and feature the fabulous wedding cake display.

You always here that what makes a wedding absolutely perfect is the special extra touches that are implemented as well as the attention to all of the little details; this wedding was no exception to that rule. Another Perfect Production produced custom seating cards for each of the guests located at the massive head table, and placed them at their designated place setting. We also designed larger reserved table place cards for the designated family tables, as well as smaller ID tags for the dessert buffet, identifying each of the various desserts that were offered. We did this by recycling left over card stock from the client's wedding invitations; which included sage green suede, rich cream linen card stock, and glittery gold distressed card stock. The perfect finishing touch was accenting the place cards with a gold Fleur di Lis (by using a hole punch purchased at Michael's) and printing the guests name in a rich mocha ink, and mounting each one of them on a rich ruby thick card stock. This was a great way to use up all of the left over invitations and envelopes, while also adorning each of the guest tables and place settings.

We designed two intimate lounge areas (or what we like to refer to as "chill pads"), which anchored each side of the dance floor, and which created more of a living room / conversation area for guests to hang out in following the dinner hour. We made these areas more intimate, and separated them from the dinner area of the tent by suspending gold sheer organza from the ceiling, and uplighting it; adding yet another really cool element to the client's wedding reception and overall event space! With most of our client's desire to create areas that allow guests to converse at their wedding reception, vs. the standard reception seating; creating a custom lounge within an area of your event space is a great way to go and can be accomplished for around $895 - $1,500 per lounge.

We had to feature a picture of our client's fabulous wedding cake, which was non other than a 3-tiered red velvet cake, provided by The Dessert Tray. Probably even more fabulous than the cake itself, was Mike Piper's (owner of An Affair To Remember) signature "Tower of Flowers" display of the cake; which was placed on a decorative black urn and pillar. Mike adorned the cake with luscious flowers, fruits, curly tail, and greens to make this cake display simply PERFECT!

This picture features the most extensive and elaborate dessert buffets that we've done to date! It consisted of over 8 desserts sure to delight any sweet tooth. It offered guests their choice of pumpkin spice cake, pecan pie with fresh whipped cream, marionberry pie, chocolate cake with raspberry butter cream and ganache filling, cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberry's inserted in a topiary tree! And of course, don't forget the red velvet wedding cake! The addition of red rose pedals, cracked gold votives of all different shapes and sizes, and sterling silver serving pieces added the perfect touch to an already perfect dessert buffet.

We presented all of the pre-cut desserts on elevated glass platters of varying heights and sizes, adding dimension to the gorgeous dessert buffet. The top glass platter sat atop a glass cylinder, which was filled with red rose pedals, and which sat atop another glass platter which acted as the base. This presentation of the desserts allowed us flexibility and ease when replacing the individual desserts as they were consumed, with replacement platters that were located in the caterer's staging area in the back of the tent. The featured dessert in this picture is of the rich chocolate cake with raspberry butter cream and ganache filling, provided by The Dessert Tray.

The unique strawberry topiary trees featured in this picture were the perfect compliment and focal point to this already elaborate dessert buffet, and were provided by Papa Haydn's. They are very reasonably priced, and very affordable at just around $70.00/ea.

And here are our happy newlyweds, Dennis and Kristen Morales, who currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here are some of their comments about Jules Rupae, their coordinator, and owner of Another Perfect Production:
"Hey Jules, did you get my voicemail from yesterday? All I basically kept saying is how AWESOME of a job you did. You are incredible and we are forever thankful and grateful. We can't wait to see the video because can't remember everything...it was that breathtaking! I have heard only the highest compliments even possible. People were saying that the tent (didn't even look like one) was decorated like Oprah quality ~ very high class... you know that is a very lofty compliment! Again, we are more than pleased. We are abundantly delighted and thrilled!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, again for such a memorable evening, Kristen and Dennis Morales"
And in a holiday card that Jules received…
"Thank you so much again for such an amazing wedding! The way our wedding turned out would have never been possible without you Jules! Because of your time, patience, understanding and organization we truly had the PERFECT wedding day! You are so wonderful and one in a million.
We look forward to seeing you soon, and miss you! Kristen and Dennis Morales"
