Our client was a member of the Oregon Golf Club, and wanted to host their wedding reception in the tent
on the grounds of the club. With the desired theme of the reception being that of a Renaissance theme,
and the well worn tent needing a complete overhaul, we partnered with our preferred rental company,
West Coast Event Productions to create a look
and feel that not only exceeded our client's high expectations, but ours as well! All side wall and
ceiling treatments and table linens were designed and custom made with our client's vision in mind.
We incorporated fabrics made of rich velvet, gold tuck shantung silk and silk organza to compliment one
another, and to create the rich look, texture and feel that we were looking to accomplish.

One word comes to mind with this particular wedding, and that word is “dreamy!” We worked very closely
with the client for exactly 12 months to design and create the wedding of her dreams! It was so
fabulous to watch every last detail unfold and come to life as planned on the wedding day itself, and
where every wedding wish did come true!!! The dream day started out with a traditional Catholic Mass
in the outdoor alter of The Grotto, followed by a very elegant reception for 250 guests in the Heritage
Ballroom of the Governor Hotel downtown. In flipping through our favorite magazine which always lends
us fabulous design inspiration, Grace Ormande Wedding Style, we found the perfect table setting; a play
on pink and black; incorporating a very bold hot pink silk shantung underlay, complimented with a unique
black rosette on tulle overlay, provided by Ruth Fischl out of New York. As you enter this site, you’ll
be amazed at the attention to detail at what truly was a magical day!
